Just in case you missed this news over at the Camelot Herald:
All servers will be taken offline this Wednesday, 9/15, starting at 6:00 AM EST.
In preparation for the release of the upcoming Catacombs expansion, (internal beta starting soon, closed public beta in October, and open beta in November) we must physically re-arrange the server room at our co-location facility. We need to add more computers to each "server" to provide for the additional zones that Catacombs will bring. This means we must take down each and every computer in the Camelot network, one at a time, and re-arrange them. This re-arrangement also includes the Herald and its database, along with the Customer Service database, billing and e-mail, www.mythicentertainment.com, and the Camelot knowledgebase.
As always we'll be monitoring the Vault and the other fan sites we frequent in order to provide updates and answer any related questions that might crop up during this time.
Please note that we will try to minimize the time that all servers are down at once; however, we estimate that the game will be unavailable for 8-10 hours. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and for the hassle this causes you - and we appreciate your patience while we go through these growing pains.
I'll try to post in the comments thread if and when the servers come back up.

And it's on time for once. Here it is this weeks installment of Who's Uber. Todays list come form the Herald Class/Trade pages as of 4:36 am cst this morning. Congratulations to everyone for getting on the list. And special grats to our uber Necro's who apparently have been kicking some ass out there and to Stickybudz for getting the number 1 spot in the necro This Week's Champions list. Good job guys!

So I'm sure most of you know that I'm in the World of Warcraft beta. If you didn't sign up or have yet to be chosen I have good news for you. Blizzard will be having a huge stress test in a short while and you all have a chance to try WoW. As it is now if your a paid member of the Gamespy/FilePlanet/IGN premium services you get automatically accepted into this stress test. If your not you can take your chances like in the beta. But it's only 7.90 to sign up. And just get into the stress test and then cancel. Here is the info from the WoW Beta Site:
In order to evaluate World of Warcraft's account-creation process and server performance under heavy loads, Blizzard will be conducting a seven-day stress test beta in the days ahead. This test will require over 100,000 players to download the World of Warcraft stress test beta client, create an account, and log on to play when the test goes live!
